JLR

TechQuest. A journey across social media for the curious, the innovative and the code hackers. This project was all about telling JLR's story of past, present and future. About a company's transformation from automotive to technological. Kicking off with a video, we invited coders from the world over to take part in the quest. To solve challenges on YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Soundcloud and LinkedIn and find the missing person. The key to accelerating past application straight to interview.

With riddles guiding the way, puzzles that tested our audience's knowledge, a thread on Reddit to keep the conversation flowing and profile picture codes to collect along the way, this quest was unlike any other. It brought people together and set people apart in their abilities. It ensured quality candidates and tracked our success. This project was smart, inclusive and got people talking around the globe.

Worldwide success

From Brazil to India, TechQuest reached people all over the world. That meant more competitors than we imagined and a funnel effect that led to 29 participants completing the quest and most of them going on to be hired.
